Gabriel Jesus has posted another encouraging social media update for Arsenal supporters on his recovery from his knee injury. The Gunners striker suffered a medial cruciate ligament injury during Brazil's World Cup defeat to Cameroon in December and has been out of action since.
Jesus, who joined the club from Manchester City in the summer, had been a mainstay within Mikel Arteta's squad in the first half of the season to help the Gunners to the top of the table. The Brazilian was involved in 11 goals in 14 games prior to the mid-season break.
Since the resumption of the Premier League, Eddie Nketiah has filled in with an excellent string of performances in the number nine slot of Arteta's squad. The Hale Ender has scored three goals in five appearances in all competitions since Jesus' injury, receiving plenty of praise from Arteta and his teammates.

"He showed great composure," the Spaniard said when asked about Nketiah. "He’s a great finisher, the timing of his runs and the decision-making in waiting until the last moment when the keeper was committed shows his quality. His understanding, his work rate, I think he’s getting better and better."
On Monday, Jesus took to social media to update his followers on his progress as he steps up his recovery. Writing on Twitter, Jesus wrote: "I miss you" alongside a love heart, football emoji and chuckling emoji. Jesus also included three images of him keeping the ball up within the club gym at London Colney.
Jesus' update will provide an encouraging boost for Arsenal supporters as the 2022/23 season approaches the business end. The Gunners currently lead the way at the top of the tree, eight points clear of Manchester City, after 18 games.
Sunday's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur has only added more fuel to the club's title challenge. Martin Odegaard continued his remarkable campaign with his eighth goal of the season after the Gunners were handed the perfect start from Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
