Gabby Agbonlahor says Rangers vs Celtic is the UK's top rivalry - well ahead of anything England serves up.
One of the biggest matches south of the border takes place this weekend when Liverpool host Manchester United but the former Aston Villa forward says that several rivalries down south are too cuddly. While never attending one, he believes it's the Premiership encounter that serves up the true spirit of tension.
The Second City derby between his former club and Birmingham City comes in second, with this Sunday's fixture at Anfield making the podium. West Ham vs Millwall and Chelsea vs Tottenham make up his top five, but Rangers vs Celtic leaves him in no doubt over his top pick. He told talkSPORT: "I think [the Old Firm derby] is my no.1 from watching it as a kid. The days of Henrik Larsson [at Celtic] and Brian Laudrup [at Rangers]. There are obviously other things that I won’t go into detail about that game that makes it more aggressive.”
