G2 Esports has parted ways with head coach Dylan Falco, ending one of the most successful coaching tenures in the LEC. After nearly five years with the organization, that trophy-laden chapter has now come to an end.
The organization confirmed Falco’s departure in a farewell post on X, thanking him for his contributions throughout his time with G2. Alongside his 11 LEC trophies, G2 highlighted his First Stand Finals appearance and the “countless banger drafts” that became part of his tenure.

Falco joined G2 Esports in 2021 and quickly became a key figure behind the team’s domestic success. Over the following years, he helped G2 remain one of Europe’s most consistent League of Legends teams while competing at the highest level internationally.
His creative and unconventional approach to drafting regularly became a talking point among fans and analysts, with G2 specifically paying tribute to those memorable drafts in its farewell message. Falco’s departure marks the end of a significant era for G2 Esports.
During his tenure, the organization established itself as one of the dominant forces in the LEC, consistently competing for domestic titles and representing the region internationally.
With Falco now moving on, G2 has already chosen its next direction, turning to Perkz to take the reins as the organization enters a new era. It marks a major shift for G2, but also the closing of a chapter that helped define its dominance in the LEC.
For nearly five years, Falco was part of the machinery that turned G2 into a trophy-winning powerhouse. His legacy is firmly etched into the organization’s history. G2 may be moving forward, but replacing a coach who leaves behind this kind of trophy haul will be no easy task.
