Disgruntled neighbours have threatened to withhold their council tax after their pleas for better roads fell on deaf ears.
People living on Beversbrook Road, Ashbank Road, and Carr Lane in Norris Green say they have spent years complaining about the state of the streets, which have not been resurfaced in years.
James Gee, 83, of Beversbrook Road, said: "We have been asking for years for the council to resurface the roads and had nothing but pathetic excuses.
