Full Liverpool squad available for Brighton as five players out and two others doubtful

Liverpool travel to Brighton Sunday afternoon as Jurgen Klopp's side look to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The Reds overcame Wolves in the previous stage of the competition after a replay between the sides at Molineux, but will be looking to get the job done at the first time of asking on this occasion.

Revenge will be on the mind of those involved for the visitors in today's cup contest, having been on the receiving end of a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Roberto De Zerbi's men only a fortnight ago.

Fabio Carvalho and Nat Phillips are both doubts from a selection standpoint due to minor fitness issues, though have not been completely ruled out of contention. Providing an update as to how he will decide his starting eleven, Klopp told reporters on Friday: “We didn't make these decisions yet. We have now a long training week – and after the game again – and that's something what we always use and everybody can show up. If the boys who now started the games with the good spells look like they have to go again, then they will start again.

"If not, thank God [we have options]. Up front not too many, Darwin is in – but in midfield we have a few options, I hope that stays like this and that's always good. How I said, who is ready to defend is more than welcome in the team. The boys looked like they understood and now we have to show it on the pitch."

Athur Melo, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk remain sidelined. Below is the full squad available to Klopp ahead of the team's trip to Brighton.

Goalkeepers: Adrian, Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher.

Defenders: Andy Robertson, Calvin Ramsay, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Kostas Tsimikas, Nat Phillips, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Midfielders: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Fabio Carvalho, Fabinho, Harvey Elliott, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara.

Forwards: Ben Doak, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah

Sidelined: Arthur Melo (muscle issue), Diogo Jota (calf injury), Luis Diaz (knee), Roberto Firmino (calf injury), Virgil van Dijk (hamstring).
