Full Leeds United squad revealed vs Tottenham Hotspur as Marcelo Bielsa welcomes back two

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media yesterday ahead of their Premier League encounter with Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

The Whites boss reflected on the number of goals conceded this season, which has already surpassed last year's tally with 13 matches remaining.

He also provided injury updates on long-term absentees Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford - but had positive news on the injury front regarding Diego Llorente and Robin Koch.

Spanish international Llorente sat out Wednesday night's 6-0 hammering by Liverpool at Anfield with a suspected hamstring tweak, while Robin Koch was an enforced absence as he continued to follow concussion protocols in the wake of his head injury last weekend.

The German defender commended the Leeds medical staff's 'good care' after he was substituted during the first half of the Whites' 4-2 defeat to Manchester United at Elland Road.

Koch's coming together with Man United midfielder Scott McTominay gave rise to plenty of debate in the days that followed, regarding refereeing decisions, but mainly on the topic of head injuries and concussion substitutes.

Six days after his premature withdrawal, Koch is back in contention.

Bielsa divulged that Phillips, Cooper and Bamford would not be likely to return during the first week of March, as had been hoped and stated in previous press conferences.

Striker Bamford remains confined to indoor training and rehabilitation as he aims to shake a troublesome foot injury.

Phillips and Cooper are on course to make full recoveries from hamstring surgery but mid-March may now be a more realistic proposition.

Here is the full Leeds United squad expected to be named this weekend.

Anticipated Leeds United squad : Illan Meslier, Kristoffer Klaesson, Stuart Dallas, Jamie Shackleton, Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk, Junior Firpo, Charlie Cresswell, Lewis Bate, Adam Forshaw, Mateusz Klich, Rodrigo Moreno, Tyler Roberts, Daniel James, Crysencio Summerville, Jack Harrison, Raphinha, Joe Gelhardt
