The Tennessee Titans are reportedly making a massive addition to their wide receivers room with the expected signing of veteran wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hopkins’ deal is for two years and $26 million, but he can make a max of $32 million with incentives included in the deal ($3 million each year).
As Rapoport notes, Hopkins can hit all of his incentives and fully max out the value of his deal if he tallies at least 95 catches for 1,050 yards and 10 touchdowns.

When you consider the Baltimore Ravens gave Odell Beckham Jr. a one-year, $15 million deal that is worth up to $18 million via incentives after suffering two torn ACLs since 2020, Hopkins’ deal looks like a steal.
Not to mention, Hopkins’ base annual average of $13 million is only two million more than guys like the New York Jets’ Allen Lazard and the Las Vegas Raiders’ Jakobi Meyers.
Of course, if Hopkins suffers the same fate as other elite but aging wideouts who have not panned out in Nashville, this deal won’t look as good. However, we’ll cross that bridge if we ever get to it.
