Arsenal travel to St. James' Park on Monday night to take on Newcastle United in a must-win Premier League clash.
The north Londoners were four points clear of local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race for UEFA Champions League placed less than a week ago but back-to-back wins from the Lillywhites, including a 3-0 derby win on Thursday, means Antonio Conte's side currently sit fourth with the Gunners now trailing by two points. However, Mikel Arteta's men do have a game in hand on Spurs and their fate is still in their hands and wins against Newcastle and Everton would therefore make Tottenham's recent form redundant.
Still, the Magpies will be a tough nut to crack, especially when you consider that they have won six of their last seven home matches, with the only exception coming against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side earlier this month. To make matters worse for Arsenal boss Arteta, defender Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White are both injury doubts and the two centre-halves weren't spotted in the most recent training pictures at the club's London Colney base.
