The Cleveland Browns do not come onto the clock until the 74th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. This means there are not many mock drafts that make it that far to play out who the Browns could select when they come on the clock. So why not complete a full three-round mock draft to simulate what options could be on the board for the Browns by the time they finally get on the clock?
We are less than three weeks away from the draft, and while the Browns did an effective job to plug holes on their roster, they have room to add more young and talented players to their roster. Who do they land here in this three-round mock draft?

Houston Texans (via CLE): TE Tucker Kraft, South Dakota State

75
Cleveland Browns (via NYJ): WR Marvin Mims, Oklahoma

The Browns went out and grabbed Elijah Moore away from the New York Jets, moving down 32 picks to make that happen. However, as they come onto the clock, they do not shy away from taking another receiver as Donovan Peoples-Jones plays out the last year of his deal, and as the Browns have to make a decision on Amari Cooper’s $23 million cap hit after this season.
Marvin Mims checks every analytical box for the Browns. He is athletic, explosive, productive, and has the ability to consistently take the top off of a defense. Mims can round out the room in 2023 and give the Browns a bit more security beyond just this season at the wide receiver position as well.

Cleveland Browns: EDGE Isaiah McGuire, Missouri

After selecting Mims with the 74th overall pick, they now come back on the clock here. With the 98th overall pick in this mock draft, the Browns now select Missouri pass rusher Isaiah McGuire to add another rotational depth piece off the edge.
The Browns signed Ogbo Okoronkwo and have second-year player Alex Wright on the roster beside Myles Garrett, but other than that they have just seventh round pick Isaiah Thomas in the room. McGuire is flexible, can win in a variety of ways as a pass rusher, and will instantly command rotational snaps as a rookie. The Browns take another step in overhauling their defensive line here.
