The Magpies head to Fulham aiming to get back to winning ways after failing to notch a Premier League victory since the opening day of the season when they beat Nottingham Forest.
However, that doesn't mean it hasn't been anything but a steady start to the campaign with five draws meaning Newcastle sit in the top 10. The encounter at Craven Cottage sees Eddie Howe go up against a Fulham side that have started well enough and have collected 11 points from seven matches to take sixth spot.
It remains to be seen whether Aleksandar Mitrović is fit to face his former side.

Lee Ryder's prediction
United will arrive in the capital with injury worries with Alexander Isak set to miss the game and other doubts on Allan Saint-Maximin and Bruno Guimaraes. But even after Fulham's great start to life back in the Premier League, United start as slight favourites.
For all that I think - with injuries and lack of availability in mind - a point would not be the end of the world. Any type of stalemate would set things up nicely for next weekend's home clash with Brentford.
And that's how I think this one will go, another draw to add to the collection. Although a point is nothing to be sniffed at against a tough to beat Fulham side.
