Frustrated resident paints his own double yellow lines to stop dodgy parking on street

A road safety vigilante fed up with people parking dangerously near a row of homes has painted double yellow lines on the tarmac.

The estate in Walmer, Kent, has had problems with drivers from outside the area leaving their cars on the road, causing havoc on the winding road.

Some neighbours have put up signs asking drivers not to park opposite their houses.
