The Frontline Singers left Britain's Got Talent fans in the audience and at home in floods of tears as Simon Cowell paid tribute to them with a moving verdict on their audition.
Prior to Saturday's episode airing on ITV, plenty of viewers had already caught a glimpse of The Frontline Singers, either on Friday's Lorraine, when the show's famous host was warned to 'grab a tissue,' or online after a number of video teasers were released. Many viewers, having seen the clip, had them down as potential Golden Buzzer candidates, but, while they weren't sent straight through to the semi finals, unlike Ant and Dec's Golden Buzzer act, they most certainly had an impact and are sure to be one of the big frontrunners for this year's BGT crown.
The Frontline Singers are a choir made up of frontline workers, including teachers, paramedics and nurses, aged between 24 and 62. They aimed to impress the Britain's Got Talent judges with an original song about the coronavirus pandemic, with the track giving a number of members a solo spot, including a well executed rap verse.

As the camera cut away to the judging panel and audience during various points in the performance, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon looked incredibly moved, while people in the crowd were wiping tears away, before rising to their feet at the end. All of the judges were full of high praise for both The Frontline Singers' audition and their hard work over a tough few years.
And, having the last word, Simon Cowell paid tribute to all their efforts, telling them: "What we've gone through the last few years, it's surreal and then out of it comes moments like this. It gives us a chance to say thank you to people like you, because it's people like you who protected all of us."
Simon added: "We have good times ahead I think," before he and his colleagues all gave a firm Yes to The Frontline Singers advancing through to the next round.
