An Edinburgh bus was left with its front bumper hanging off after colliding with a car on a busy road on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lothian Bus was left heavily damaged following the incident outside Greggs on Gilmerton Dykes Street around 12pm.
Images from the scene show the bus parked on the side of the road and a black car beside it with a damaged front bumper after the two reportedly collided on the main road.

The whole front of the bus below the front windscreen has been torn off following the crash, and it is currently unclear whether there were any injuries as a result.
Police Scotland confirmed they were not called out to the street on Wednesday, with traffic reportedly stuck behind the incident for a short while before moving freely once both vehicles had been recovered.
It is also unclear what service was involved in the smash, although one eye witness said it would have to be either the number 7 or 11 as they go past that particular area.
Lothian Buses were approached for comment.
