Unbelievably, it’s already July – summer is flying past faster than you can say pass me the suncream. But Netflix has not stopped to take a break. Up against it, with Disney+ and Amazon Prime getting ever closer to eliminating the gap in the number of subscribers between the streamers, there are dozens of new and returning films and series coming to the site this month.
Highlights include the finale of Stranger Things, an interactive adventure series with Bear Grylls, a new Bill Burr live show, a semi-comedic take on Persuasion starring Dakota Johnson, a new Kung Fu Panda series and The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling, which is the most expensive film Netflix has ever made – it had a production budget of $200 million.
Here is our round-up of everything there is to see. We’ve broken it down into New, as in brand new, Returning, such as a second or third season of a show, and Additons. Additions are films or series that are not new but are new to the streaming site.
