Arsenal have confirmed that “no obvious cardiac causes” have so far been found amid ongoing investigations into Frida Maanum’s collapse in the Women’s League Cup final last weekend.
There were scary scenes in stoppage time of Sunday’s match between the Gunners and London rivals Chelsea at Molineux, with Maanum collapsing off the ball before being treated at length by medical staff and then stretchered off the pitch while receiving oxygen.
