A new “pro-growth” private members’ club fronted by Liz Truss has hit another setback as a hearing for a licence to allow it to open was delayed for a second time.

The ex-Prime Minister has thrown her backing behind the Leconfield, an exclusive invitation-only facility with a reported £500,000 joining fee for founding members.
