Freeview users will lose 10 channels today as signal switched off

Freeview EE BBC Four CBeebies Ofcom

Freeview users will lose 10 of their TV channels today. And they have been told they must retune their TV to keep other popular channels like CBeebies HD and Together TV.

The subscription-free TV service attracts millions of viewers every day, however they will lose a significant amount of the channels today. The reason is Freeview is being hit by the changes due to a broadcast signal - named COM7 Multiplex - being closed down, reports the Mirror.

It is being done to make way for the very latest 5G mobile technology from EE. As a result, with less bandwidth to use, Freeview has been forced to make changes that include some channels being taken off its platform for good.
