A beach is coming to Leeds this summer which means families don’t have to travel to the coast to make sandcastles.
The annual free City Beach is returning to The Light, in Leeds city centre, with the attraction being in place between Saturday, July 23 and Monday, September 5. It will be based in Cookridge Street outside of The Light.
City Beach will feature huge props such as a giant sandpit, food and drink vendors and there will be a series of themed events running. During the summer, there will be family activities planned with beach balls and frisbees also available.
