Frank Warren agrees with Eddie Hearn over Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua venue

Frank Warren has confirmed that he expects Tyson Fury to face Anthony Joshua in November and that it will be held in the UK.

It comes after the WBC champion Fury made the offer to Joshua's team along with confirming the purse bids.

The 33-year-old Joshua appears to be willing to face Fury, tweeting out on Monday evening that he would be willing to fight in December, he wrote: "Yea calm. I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if your [sic] really about it shout 258mgt. I’ll be ready in December. Khalas."

It looks like talks over the fight are moving quickly. Fury's promoter Warren has confirmed that if a fight were to happen, it will be held in the UK - and predicts that it could break box office records.

He told talkSPORT : "It will be in the UK and hopefully in November. That’s what we are looking at.

"How we make it work is that Tyson insists the fight is in the UK. So it’s got to work. He wants to fight here and deliver to the British fans.

“It will deliver a significant gate because there is massive interest from the British public and it will break all pay-per-view records. Whatever it generates is what it is worth.

"Once they confirm they are interest and accept the position where we are, we will work collectively to maximise the income between us. It depends what the price of the fight is, who knows what it would be price at. I personally think it could hit two million buys.

“The point is Tyson wants to fight here, that’s what he has said. He has said on numerous occasions that if he fights him he wants to fight him in the UK.”

Meanwhile, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has said that Cardiff's Principality Stadium is the only suitable venue in the UK to host the fight at that time of year.

Hearn said: "That time of year, you'd only really have one choice which is the Millennium Stadium (Principality Stadium).

"You're leaving a huge amount of money behind to do the fight in the UK, but, guess what, these two also have a huge amount of money."
