Francis Ngannou wants to face Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua when he makes the switch to boxing in the future.
The UFC heavyweight champion is in a heated contract battle with his promoters, with one key negotiation sticking point being his insistence on being allowed to box.
UFC president Dana White famously dislikes co-promoting fights, and has only once allowed one of his fighters to transition to the ring; when Conor McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
But Ngannou is adamant that he be given an opportunity to step into the ring, where he had originally wanted to compete before taking up MMA in his early career.
The hard-hitting heavyweight believes that he holds more power behind his punches than the fearsome former world champion Wilder, who is considered one of the greatest punchers of all time.
And he has been called out on a number of occasions by Fury for a fight that could prove easier to make than expected given the UFC's broadcast deal with ESPN, for whom the boxer fights as well.
"I really want to be a boxer," Ngannou said in a recent YouTube video. "It's not a one time thing that I want.
"I want to put myself out there multiple times and try to see where is my level as a boxer, it's a different sport and I know that it's going to be challenging for me, but I think I have some potential.
"The sky is the limit, it won't be easy at all, when you see the belt holder like Tyson Fury you know they're not going to be easy, they are legit."
Ngannou currently may not compete in a boxing ring or another MMA promotion, under his current contract with the UFC, where he has one fight left.
It was expected that his contract would run out after his defence against Ciryl Gane on Saturday night at UFC 270, but champions have a clause where they must stay with the promotion.
However if he can hold out until the end of the year, which will be easier due to his impending surgery for a knee injury, Ngannou will be free of his UFC contract having never lost his title.
And he believes a fight could materialise with Fury, saying: "That's been happening for the past two years, but where is the freedom?
"I can't do anything, this is a big opportunity for me but I am tied in a contract with the UFC and that contract is not doing me any good,
"That's the reason why I do believe that I have to figure out that contract so we can make it do me some good.

"There is no reason for him to talk s***, he's legit and he believes in himself, why would he talk s***?
"I don't think he's talking s***, he fought Wilder three times and the top guys in boxing don't fight much, but he fought Wilder three times.
"The only guy that he hasn't fought is Anthony Joshua, who he is supposed to fight, and after that what can he do?
"On the other hand, there is a champion from another sport who could be a potential challenge, so I think that it makes sense, I make a great opponent for Tyson Fury and everyone.
"He would know that I can put him at risk so it's not like a fight that has been won already, something can happen, he can shift.
"I think out of all of those three [Fury, Wilder and Joshua], he is the best technical boxer."
