Fox News’ statement on Maria Bartiromo’s departure as she exits network after 12 years

Fox News Media has announced that host Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the network after 12-and-a-half years.
“Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with Fox News Media,” a press release said. “In making the announcement, Fox News Media said, ‘We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 1/2 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.’
Bartiromo’s last episode of Mornings with Maria on Fox Business Network aired Thursday morning.
She is widely recognized as a favorite of President Donald Trump and was linked to the vacant role of press secretary in the Trump administration.
However, Vanity Fair ’s Washington Correspondent Aidan McLaughlin downplayed the suggestion on X, writing: “Bartiromo is not leaving for a job in the Trump admin, I’m told.”
