Liverpool's summer transfer business is set to continue in the coming weeks, with Jurgen Klopp being tipped to continue investment in midfield.
The Reds have already completed the signings of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister for a combined £95 million, but are set to continue their strengthening. Midfield was always thought to be the key area of investment, and a third new arrival could be on the cards, possibly along with a centre-back.
With Romeo Lavia and Kephren Thuram both having emerged as targets, there are other names in the mix to arrive at Anfield this summer, as well as a former star's return rumoured to be in the works.
Here, we take a look at who the bookies are backing to join Liverpool this summer...

Nicolo Barella - 3/1
One of the summer's most popular targets, the Inter Milan midfielder is a name on the lips of many Liverpool fans. However, the arrival of Szoboszlai and Mac Allister could make a signing unlikely as another number eight could impact upon the balance of Klopp's midfield.
Conor Gallagher - 8/1
A player who has mooted as a potential alternative to Jordan Henderson, with the similarities in their game clear. Probably more up to the task of playing a holding role than Barella, but would still be more of a number eight in Klopp's 4-3-3 system.
However, with Chelsea already having sold Mateo Kovacic and set to sell Mason Mount, it might be a tough ask to convince the Blues to sell up. Plus, Liverpool appear to have other targets and have already bought two top talents.
James Ward Prowse - 12/1
Having been relegated with Southampton, James Ward-Prowse has been mentioned as a potential midfield option due to his qualities from set pieces and reliable work ethic in the middle of the park. A versatile player, he can operate in wide areas, playing a similar role to Henderson and potentially allowing Trent Alexander-Arnold to cut inside as part of his new role as an 'inverted-wing-back'.
That being said, it could be his Saints teammate Lavia who appears more likely to arrive at Anfield this summer.
Sadio Mane 14/1
An unlikely return has been tipped to take place this summer, with the former Liverpool winger believed to be up for sale at Bayern after failing to his the form of his Liverpool days in Germany. A stacked Reds front line could complicate a return, however.
