Four In a Bed viewers brand winners 'cheats' as Scottish contestants clash

Verbal barbs were exchanged on last night's episode of Four In a Bed, as one hotel was crowned the best value for money.

On Payment Day, the hotel owners all meet up and discuss the ratings they received from one another on their residences. It is typically a tense affair, with hosts arguing over the comments made by other contestants, and things can get catty.

Thursday night's episode definitely lived up to expectations, as Scottish hosts Glenn and William dubbed their experiences as "underwhelming" and "disappointing".

Their hotel wasn't flavour of the month either, as contestants Andrew and Chris found a dirty toilet, and were kept up all night by a "gurgling towel rail".

Crissy and Pauline also found a hair in their bed, and their review left the Scottish hotel owners "a bit shocked". Glenn said: " We can take criticism, we're big boys."

Glenn also dubbed the underpayments from both parties as "unfair" and "a shock to take personally". Crissy and Pauline paid £195, an underpayment of £30.

Andrew and Chris paid £175, which was an underpayment of £50. Choice words were had, as Glenn said: "I guarantee if you came down to reception and asked for a 20 per cent reduction on your feedback, I'd would've said 'on your bike!'"

Viewers were also in agreement with the Scottish hosts in their disappointment of the reviews, with some calling the eventual winners, Andrew and Chris, game players.

One Twitter user wrote: "Another week on #fourinabed where the game players/cheats win." Another said: " #fourinabed Well that got tetchy didn't it. I very much doubt they are going to stay friends."

And a third wrote: "The worlds end run by the most miserable pair who cheat to win a TV show. One to avoid. Imagine those 2 miserable whinges being your hosts #fourinabed."

More comments read: "I don't like cheats. #fourinabed." Others said: "#fourinabed there’s always a game player! The World’s End were this week’s!"

And finally, one concluded: "£50 underpayment is daylight robbery. #fourinabed." Four In a Bed resumes with new contestants on Monday, February 20 at 5pm on Channel 4.
