The first Showdown teaser trailer sets the tone for the entire season. In the footage, the Ice King rises from his throne in a huge icy castle, inside which multiple characters are trapped in frozen slabs, including The Prisoner, Orelia, a new Captain America variant, and The Foundation, in a fresh look.
The trailer ends by explicitly stating that The Foundation and The Ice King will return in Fortnite Showdown, framing the season around their conflict.
