Greg Stewart has sealed a return to Indian football after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal with Mumbai City FC.
The former Rangers star will remain with Des Buckingham's side until May 2024. His stunning debut campaign in the league with Jamshedspur FC under now Queen's Park Owen Coyle ended with him being named the 2021/22 ISL 'Hero of the Season'.
Stewart - who has also turned out for the likes of Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Dundee and Birmingham City - also played a major role in his former club winning the ISL League Winners’ Shield with ten goals and ten assists. On his move, he told Mumbai City's official website : “I’m delighted to be here at Mumbai City. The club outlined their plans and their ambitions right from the outset and I believe joining Mumbai City is the right step forward to continue my journey in India.
