We keep getting news from the transfer portal for Ohio State, but rather than acquisitions of key players, it’s word on where the myriad of Buckeyes that hit the transfer portal after the Michigan loss are headed.
The latest is center Victor Cutler Jr., who barely even put the scarlet and gray on after transferring to OSU from Louisiana-Monroe during the offseason last year. Now, just one year later, Cutler has announced a transfer to the Louisville Cardinals of the ACC.
The expectations for Cutler were optimistic when news of his transfer to Columbus was made public. He was thought to be firmly in the mix to take over the starting center spot with the departure of Luke Wypler to the NFL. However, Carson Hinzman won that job and Cutler was used sparingly, playing just 21 snaps during the 2023 campaign.

As always, we’ll wish Cutler nothing but the best because once players don the scarlet and gray, they will forever be a part of the brotherhood no matter where life takes them.
