The Carolina Panthers, at least for the time being, are a bit out on Bryce Young. But one former player believes they should be all the way out on the 23-year-old quarterback.
On Monday, head coach Dave Canales announced his decision to bench Young moving forward. The spot under center will now be taken over by 14th-year veteran Andy Dalton, who is in line to make his second career start for the Panthers in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, however, has taken the demotion a step further—as he thinks the Panthers should just look to offload the 2023 No. 1 overall pick.
Here’s what he had to say on Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show:
“I think Bryce Young is done in Carolina and I would encourage them to trade him..
If I were the Los Angeles Rams I would probably make a call” ~ @danorlovsky7 #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/Pyu4hd2b99

Orlovsky, on yesterday’s NFL Live, also threw out the Miami Dolphins as a sensical landing spot for Young . . .
🎥 Dan Orlovsky believes the Miami Dolphins are the best landing spot for QB Bryce Young: “Someone will have to come and trade for Bryce Young… [Dolphins] make a lot of sense. No one else in my mind makes sense for him.” (@ESPNNFL) #GoFins pic.twitter.com/m3BYIqHp1T

Miami Bryce, huh?
Anyway, the Panthers may be better served to hold onto Young for now, as long as they’re not completely over him. What they can potentially still get out of him is worth much more than what they could potentially get for him
