Former New York police officer stalked and sexually abused woman under investigation pretense

A former police officer in New York state has admitted stalking and sexually abusing a woman while in uniform using the power of his badge.

Michael Agovino, 35, was jailed for seven years after pleading guilty on Thursday to multiple counts of sexual abuse and sexually motivated burglary, according to the county prosecutor's office.
