Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is set to make his celebrity boxing debut in the coming months.
The 40-year-old retired from football in 2019 but has kept himself in good shape thanks to his love of this new sport, the Daily Star reports.
Evra's highly anticipated debut will be on the undercard of the Martyn Ford vs Sajad Gharibi fight — better known as 'world's scariest man vs Iranian Hulk' bout on April 2 in London.
Unbelievably, the Frenchman will not be the only former Premier League footballer on the 'star-studded' undercard.
Ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara will be taking to the ring to fight Katie Price's former boyfriend Kris Boyson.
Other familiar names who will be stepping out in London for their own fights include Love Island personality Jack Fincham and comedian/actor James English.
At present, details of who Evra will be fighting in the capital have not yet been revealed.
