As the new series of Love Island 2023 begins someone who knows the villa well has urged viewers to be respectful towards the new Islanders. Former Love Islander Laura Anderson said the 2023 cast are “selling their emotional little souls” while appearing on the show.

Posting on her Instagram story Laura captioned a photo from her Love Island days, saying: "Just remember the young individuals gracing our screens this evening really are selling their emotional little souls for our entertainment, so please do them the courtesy and give each and every one of them your well-deserved respect throughout season 10 of @loveisland 2023" followed by a heart emoji.

Laura entered the villa in 2018 when she finished runner-up with Paul Knops, having also been coupled up with Wes Nelson and Jack Fowler in the series. The star is currently pregnant with her first child with her former partner ex-EastEnders star Gary Lucy.
