Former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has posted a positive message as he steps up his recovery from a long-term injury.
After signing for Jose Mourinho's AS Roma at the beginning of the season, the Dutchman suffered a fractured tibia which has kept him out of action until the second half of the campaign. At the moment, Wijnaldum has been resigned to cameo appearances in Serie A and the Europa League.
He made his much-anticipated comeback in their 1-1 draw with Leece at the beginning of February. Following the expiry of his deal at Liverpool, Wijnaldum signed for Paris Saint-Germain, making 31 appearances in all competitions before arriving in the Italian capital in the summer on a season-long loan.

The 32-year-old made another step towards recovery in midweek where he mustered nine minutes in their win over RB Salzburg which booked their place in the last-16 of the Europa League as they overturned a one-goal deficit from the first-leg.
In a tweet, Wijnaldum posted a 14-second clip on the ball in his recent outing in Serie A against Hellas Verona with the caption: "Enjoy playing again and feel stronger every day."
It follows on from his emotional message after his return to first-team football against Leece. Before the match, he shared an image of his shirt in the dressing room with the caption: 'Baby I'm back!', and an action photo of the 32-year-old was also shared onto his account with the same caption.
"Spinazzola was fantastic tonight, but it is easier for a player to do well when the team is working like that," said Mourinho after Thursday's triumph. "My only concern today was the result, as it was 2-0 and we could’ve scored more. We ran zero risks at the back, we were in complete control, the fans understood the dynamics of the game. Gini Wijnaldum came on and is starting to show the difference his quality makes."
