Albion Rovers have appointed former Hamilton Accies and Hearts boss Sandy Clark as their new manager.
The 66-year-old ex-Rangers player, who hails from Airdrie, takes the reins after Brian Reid was sacked on Saturday in the aftermath of a 1-0 defeat to Bonnyrigg Rose, which leaves the Wee Rovers a point adrift of their rivals at the bottom of League Two.
It's not the first time Clark has been in the Cliftonhill dugout, having served as Darren Young's assistant at Rovers when they won the Second Divsion title in 2014/15.
The Coatbridge club are desperate to avoid the drop into the Lowland League and have turned to a man who was managing in the fifth tier this season.
Clark arrives having spent a short spell in charge at East Stirlingshire, a club he only joined in November.
He does bring a wealth of SPFL experience to the table. Last year he was No.2 to Allan Johnston during his time in charge of Queen of the South - which was their second stint at Palmerston together - and he also assisted Johnston at Dunfermline for four years between 2015-2019.
Clark will take first-team training tonight in Airdrie ahead of his first game in charge at Forfar on Saturday.

"We simply felt it was in the best of interests of the club to make a change at this time in order to have the best possible chance of climbing away from the foot of the table.
“Sandy will meet with the players tonight at training alongside myself and members of the board of directors ahead of Saturday’s trip to Station Park.
"I would like to also place on record my thanks to East Stirlingshire for their assistance in ensuring Sandy could join the club immediately.”
Whoever finishes bottom of League Two does not automatically suffer relegation and instead will have to battle it out with the winners of the Highland/Lowland League pyramid play-off to save their SPFL status.
Rovers now have just six games to turn the tide in League Two.
