A former Emmerdale star has a new role in Coronation Street.
As we know, soapland can be a small place with acting talents moving between shows. According to The Sun, the latest switch will see former Emmerdale favourite Zoe Lambert join Corrie.
Fans might recall Zoe played lawyer Rachel Whatmore in Emmerdale between 2003 and 2005. Zoe will appear in a number of Corrie episodes later this year and is due to start filming scenes soon.

We will bring you further on Zoe’s role on the cobbles when we know more. Zoe is expected to be on screen in June. In Emmerdale, her character played a solicitor working for the Tate family.
She had a number of juicy storylines with one seeing her involved in a love affair with sister Zoe Tate, played by Leah Bracknell, before becoming embroiled in a shock love triangle plot with Zoe and Scott Windsor.
Away from Emmerdale, Zoe Lambert has appeared in The Royal Today, Tracy Beaker Returns and School for Seduction. Many fans will be excited to see what her character gets up to in Coronation Street.
