Tragedy struck in Miami as two former college hockey teammates were fatally shot in their apartment by a man who then took his own life. The victims were identified as 25-year-old Meghan Moore and her roommate, 23-year-old Sidney Capolino, both of whom were talented athletes and recent graduates.
The incident unfolded when 40-year-old Luis Napoles opened fire on Moore and Capolino before turning the gun on himself. Police responded to the scene and found Moore outside the apartment with a gunshot wound, but their efforts to save her were in vain as all three individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
