Albion Rovers boss Brian Reid admits he is on the search for a striker after Kieran McGrath was released from his contract last week.
The ex-Celtic youth, 21, joined in the summer but has made just five appearances this term.
Reid said: "The boy wasn't getting game time and he decided he wanted to move on.
"If somebody wants to do that, we won't stand in their way.
"We wish him well, wherever he may go.
"There's money there for someone else to come in, it's just about getting the right one in.
"I've been looking non-stop for that wee bit of a cutting edge, but it is not easy, especially at this stage of the season.
"We will continue the search and hopefully someone comes in."
* Meanwhile, Albion Rovers will host Stenhousemuir in League Two this weekend - with a special offer for fans as part of their 140th anniversary celebrations.
The Cliftonhill club, who celebrate the milestone on Saturday, are charging just £1.40 for fans to enjoy a pie and bovril at the game.
Kick-off on Saturday is 3pm and a win could move Rovers off the bottom of the Leagye Two table.
