Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rex Burkhead has called it a career.
A sixth-round pick by the Bengals in 2013, Burkhead played four seasons in Cincinnati with some very notable moments, such as getting the start at wide receiver in a Wild Card playoff loss to the Colts in 2014 and generally playing a huge role on special teams.
Burkhead then went on to play several seasons with the New England Patriots, appearing in two Super Bowls and winning Super Bowl LIII, before joining the Houston Texans
The former Nebraska standout finishes a strong career with 1,908 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, plus 192 catches for 1,534 yards and nine more scores.
