At a recent court session held in Southwark, ex-footballer Thomas Partey rejected two further accusations of sexual assault. Prosecution efforts aim to merge every charge into one legal proceeding. Proceedings are now expected to extend beyond their original timeline. A consolidated case appears unlikely before the start of 2027.
Before a London courtroom, Partey, aged 32, declared his denial of accusations involving two instances of rape said to have occurred in December 2020. Charges filed previously in July of last year outline five separate allegations of rape along with one instance of sexual assault, events reportedly unfolding between 2021 and 2022. Every claim has been rejected by him without exception.
