Former Albion Rovers midfielder Will Graham has thanked doctors for giving him a second chance at life after recovering from life-saving brain surgery.
The 23-year-old, who featured for the Cliftonhill side between 2019-2021 and made 23 appearances, is currently on the books at West of Scotland Football League outfit Hurlford United.
He was taken off during their friendly with Ayrshire rivals Maybole on July 21 and rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he underwent successful surgery.
Graham is now up and about and posted a video on his social media with a thank you message for the doctors who saved his life.
He posted: "Where do I even start? I just want to thank everyone for the messages. I can’t thank everyone enough or put into words how grateful I am to still be alive.
"I can’t thank the surgeon enough for saving my life at QE hospital, giving me a second chance at life."
He added: "First day walking...a week-and-a-half after brain surgery. It's still really hard but not giving up.
"It's gonna be a long, long road to recovery but so grateful to be alive.
"I absolutely refuse to give up."
