Forecasts for Hot and Dry Weather in Brazil Lift Coffee Prices

December arabica coffee (KCZ25) today is up +9.30 (+2.46%), and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX25) is up +230 (+5.32%).

Coffee prices are sharply higher today, climbing to two-week highs.  Concerns about dry weather in Brazil during the critical flowering phase of coffee production are pushing coffee prices higher today.  Climatempo said today that dry conditions will intensify into next week in the coffee-growing regions of Brazil with above-normal temperatures, which could cause heat stress to some of the region's coffee trees.
