Forbidden Fruit returns this June bank holiday weekend for its tenth anniversary, bringing festival lovers in the city a great line-up of international and Irish acts.
Taking place on the grounds of the Irish Museum Of Modern Art at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this June 4 and 5, there are certain things fans should know before heading along to Forbidden Fruit 2022.

When is Forbidden Fruit 2022?
Forbidden Fruit 2022 takes place on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5. Festival gates open at 2pm. Last entrance to Forbidden Fruit will be at 9.30pm. The last act finishes at 10:45pm on both nights.
How to get to Forbidden Fruit
The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is a 15 minute walk from Dublin City Centre. Alternatively, you can get the Luas Red Line towards Saggart to Heuston Station.
Bus routes that serve the area include route numbers 13, 25A, 40, 66A, 79, 79A and 123.
If travelling by train, you can travel to Heuston Station which is a five minute walk from the festival.
Who is playing Forbidden Fruit 2022?
The line-up for Forbidden Fruit 2022 is pretty stacked.
On Saturday, there will be Kojaque, Bicep, Gemma Dunleavy, Saoirse, Tara Kumar, Lychee and many more.
On Sunday, you can expect to see Lorde, Hot Chip, Peggy Gou, The Avalanches and more great acts.
Do I need cash for Forbidden Fruit?
Forbidden Fruit 2022 will be a cashless event. All bars, concessions, and traders will accept contactless payments or chip and PIN payments.
Can I go to Forbidden Fruit if I'm under 18?
Forbidden Fruit 2022 is a strictly over 18s event and ID might be checked upon entry.
Are there any banned items from Forbidden Fruit 2022?
Attendees are not permitted to enter the festival grounds with liquids, illegal drugs, fireworks, drones, professional recording equipment or pets.
There will also be no parking allowed at the venue and no re-entry on the same day.
Will my bag be searched at Forbidden Fruit?
No large bags will be permitted to Forbidden Fruit while bags A4 size & smaller will be subject to security checks on entry. Those without a bag will be fast tracked into the festival grounds.
