It’s the thing so many football fans — and announcers both in college and NFL! — have been complaining about: ESPN cutting away to Aaron Judge’s at-bats as he attempts to break the American League record for most home runs in a season.
He’s tied it with 61, and with the regular season finishing this week, there won’t be any cutaways this weekend.
Still, fans on Twitter came up with a new meme this week: [Amazing football play] but Aaron is chasing 62 home runs. The amazing play is cut off by Judge getting walked, thereby missing the incredible football moment.
