Two food-loving dogs named Fish and Chip are looking for a forever home together in Wales.
The pair arrived at Dogs Trust in Cardiff together and hope to find an affectionate family that will love them both.
Chip especially “loves food” and “will do anything for a tasty treat”, while Fish “enjoys walks” and most importantly, the comfort of his best friend, Chip.
The male duo will make “lovely additions to a home” and are hoping to live out their days eating, sleeping and playing with each other.
The Cardiff Dogs Trust team describe Chip as a “stunning little lad” and Fish as a “sweet boy”.
Chip is a handsome seven-year-old crossbreed with a love for food and treats.
He enjoys snoozing the day away curled up on a warm lap.
Fish is a “friendly” six-year-old crossbreed that likes getting outside for walks.
He can find some situations stressful and would prefer a quiet home where he can feel secure.
The pair can be quite vocal with other dogs initially, but once they get over the initial anxiety, are able to make new doggy friends.
While they have a very close bond, they do cope well having some time apart.
Fish and Chip can be left alone for up to four hours, but this may need to be built up gradually over time.
The affectionate duo are looking for a home with older children, aged 14 and over, who have experience of living with dogs. They cannot live with cats or small furry animals.
Their future owner would need to commit to helping them socialise in their new home, to help build up their confidence around other dogs.
