KOCHI: The Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC) is all set for its commissioning and post the historic event, Indian Navy's prime focus will be on the integration of flight and fleet operations of the ship, said Commodore Vidhyadhar Harke, the Commanding Officer (Desig) of the vessel, which will soon be rechristened as INS Vikrant.
Speaking to TOI, Harke said that completing those objectives is crucial and will take 'due time' and the Navy has already set the plans in phases to speed it up. "Till now, we have been able to test and validate the efficiency of the majority of equipment and machinery during various trials held.
