The new season of FOAMSTARS is set to begin this April 12. Dubbed as "Mysterious Swing," one of the highlights is the introduction of a new character. There are also new events along with different new cosmetic content. The season then ends May 17.
The new character is known as Chloe Noir. She's a mysterious art gallery director who is not afraid to use her straight-shooting foam charge rifle while hunting down enemies with her Bubble Beastie Ciel. Chloe Noir is available free for all players as a reward for Tier 31. However, those who buy the Premium Pass can immediately get access to this new playable character.
In addition to a new character, players can look forward to the weekly free limited-time items. All players need to do is log in to the game every Friday and then head to the shop to get the free items. There's going to be one item per week available for everyone and these includes, among others, Character Skin for Mel T and Foam Gun Skin for Jet Justice.
New Events
As mentioned, new events are to be launched as part of the upcoming new season. There's going to be two limited-time seasonal events. Players can look forward to the solo player-based Ranked Party Lonestar along with the team-based Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe.
Players who are looking for a challenge can check out two special themed event. The first is the All Chloe Party where each player team get to compete and chill the opponent team as none other than Chloe Noir. The second is Bubbly Penguin Party. In this one, players can only fight using Penny Gwyn with her Toboggan Bomb and Emperor March skills.
Current Season
While waiting for the new season to arrive, players can continue to obtain the rewards available in the current season. Groovy Disco started March 8 and introduced "Coiff Guy." In addition, right now they can enjoy Ranked Party Tribe-Vibe which ends April 7.
FOAMSTARS is a vibrant and over-the-top shooter that's accessible to players of all skill levels. It offers the fun of partying and combines it with the excitement of combat. In the game, players get to blast across matches by using foam to attack, defend, and build.
Players can choose from a quirky and colorful ensemble of athletes which are dropped into the eccentric city of Bath Vegas to compete. The game features a combination of PvP and PvE modes for up to eight players, either as four vs. four, solo, or co-op as a Squad with three teammates.
FOAMSTARS is available to purchase for $29.99 through the PlayStation Store and needs a PlayStation Plus subscription. A Premium Season Pass is available for purchase at $5.99.
