Tottenham fans have been handed a major hint amid the potential transfer of Alessandro Bastoni. The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, with Antonio Conte eager to bolster his side and sustain Spurs' Champions League place.
And, Fabio Paratici is looking to strengthen Spurs' defence as his first priority in the upcoming transfer window. Conte and Paratici met on Friday morning in Turin to discuss the club's transfer strategy for the summer and much of the talk is understood to have turned to the defensive side of the squad.
Bastoni, who has emerged as one of several targets that the north London outfit are said to be looking at, has impressed again this season at Inter having won Serie A with Conte prior to the latter's exit. There are suggestions that the Italy international is keen on a reunion with the Spurs boss, but the primary hurdle seems to be prising him away from the San Siro.
