Floyd Mayweather seemed not to care too much as he watched his long-time bodyguard Ray 'Jizzy Mack' Sadeghi get knocked out by kick-boxer Koji 'Kouzi' Tanaka.
The boxing legend shared the card with his pal Sadeghi in Japan over the weekend as he headlined 'Super Rizin' against Mikuru Asakura. He watched on from the dressing room as his friend put on a decent early showing against veteran kick-boxer Tanaka, before being viciously knocked out in the third round.
Sadhegi held a massive weight advantage over Tanaka, but had never fought at any level before while his opponent was a veteran of 50 kick-boxing matches. He had won 31 of those, and proceeded to brutalise the bodyguard after initially struggling to come to grips with the difference in size, with his rival weighing around 185lb while he competes at 135lb usually.
In footage released through Rizin's official Tik Tok page, as Mayweather was having his hands wrapped, the 50-0 fighter can be seen glancing over at a TV where he can see his friend's fight. When Sadeghi is dropped and lands on his face, Mayweather appears to shrug it off and smirk before going back to having his hands wrapped and listening to Kanye West.
Asked about the fight in his post-fight press conference, Mayweather said: "I take my hat off to him, he tried his best. He's never had a fight before, so to get in there with a guy with 50 fights was a good experience for him. It was a good learning experience, I want him to hold his head up high, I'm proud of him and I will always be proud of him.

"Don't look at him in no different way. He's been a friend for 12-13 years, he will continue to be a friend and I will continue to let him know that I'm proud of him just for trying hard. This is something that's not easy, it's not for everyone but at least he gave it a try and found out it's not as easy as it looks. Once again, Jizzy, I love you, you're my friend, I'm proud of you, I will always be proud of you and you gave it your best."
Mayweather would go on to knock out Asakura in the second round after getting tagged on a number of occasions in a fight that proved more difficult than he was expecting. The boxer has said previously that he wants to face opponents who won't cause him any damage, but he had to walk through some big shots from the MMA star before eventually landing a stoppage.
Now, Mayweather moves on to a Dubai showdown on November 13 with YouTube star Deji. The Brit, whose brother is chart-topping rapper and the UK's biggest influencer KSI, recently won his first boxing match after four attempts when he stopped Yusef 'Fousey' Erakat at The O2 arena, and moves on to a bout with arguably the greatest boxer of all time.
