The Florida Panthers, current Stanley Cup champions, have found a unique lucky charm in personalized bathrobes. During a recent two-game trip to Finland, the team received these robes as a gift and decided to wear them to the games. Surprisingly, they won both matches, sparking a new tradition.

Since their victories in Finland, the Panthers have continued to wear the robes to their games back in the U.S. The trend seems to be working, as they secured another win against Nashville while donning the robes.

Players like Matthew Tkachuk have embraced the superstition, acknowledging that they will continue wearing the robes until their luck runs out. The decision to wear the robes was initially a spontaneous idea, inspired by Finland's sauna culture.

Team captain Aleksander Barkov encouraged the robe-wearing tradition, emphasizing the importance of team unity and fun amidst the competitive season. The concept originated from Lucy Tallas, the wife of the Panthers' goaltending coach, and has since become a symbol of camaraderie within the team.

Head coach Paul Maurice commended the players for their courage and camaraderie, noting that such lighthearted gestures often bring a team closer together. While the players enjoy the comfort and fun of wearing the robes, Maurice humorously opted to stick to his traditional suit attire.

As the Panthers prepare for their upcoming games, the robe-wearing streak continues, with the team finding success both on and off the ice. Whether it's superstition or simply a fun tradition, the bathrobes have become a symbol of the Panthers' winning spirit.
