Florida man ‘teleported’ into a BMW before crashing it, blames aliens and the ‘X-Men’ for the damage

In a wild one out of Florida, a 36-year-old man, Calvin Curtis Johnson, is in custody after he told deputies he had “teleported” into a BMW convertible, before taking a 100-plus mph joyride and wrecking the vehicle.

The incident took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, after the vehicle was reported stolen from a nearby park, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. When asked what happened, authorities say he responded with claims about aliens and the “X-Men.”
