Florida man arrested after placing virus on woman’s PC, shared private info

A 36-year-old Florida man was arrested after investigators accused him of gaining unauthorised access to a woman’s computer and posting private information involving women in more than 100 TikTok videos. Mark Stephen Asea of Port St. Lucie was booked into the St Lucie County Jail on September 30 on a felony computer-access charge, with his bond set at $35,000. The case followed an investigation into allegations involving at least two women, including claims that Asea had remotely accessed a computer, obtained passwords and private material, and discussed personal information in his online videos. Investigators also examined claims involving location data, purchases and private conversations. Asea’s earlier stalking allegations were dropped, but prosecutors later revived the computer-related case in September.
