Jennifer Gomez was arrested in 2011 (left) and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her crimes, though she was released in 2020 - (Marion County Jail/Florida Department of Law Enforcement)

A former cat burglar who once terrorized upscale neighborhoods across Central Florida by breaking into more than 200 homes is now revealing how she stayed under the radar for years.

Jennifer Gomez, now 41, was arrested by Marion County deputies in 2011 after a lengthy investigation into a rash of home burglaries that she said netted her about $7 million. Court records show she was convicted of multiple charges, including nine counts of burglary, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property.
